Setup by client
Cursor
- Add the server to your Cursor MCP configuration in `~/.cursor/mcp.json` with `bunx cursor-talk-to-figma-mcp@latest`
- Start the WebSocket server in the repo: `bun socket`
- Install the Figma plugin (Figma community page, or link `src/cursor_mcp_plugin/manifest.json`) and open the target file in Figma
- Ask Cursor to read or modify the design
Known issues & workarounds

The server runs via `bunx` and `bun socket`. Install bun from https://bun.sh if it is not already present.
