Claude Desktop
- Install Nanobot with the official one-liner: `curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HKUDS/nanobot/main/scripts/install.sh | sh` (or `pip install nanobot-ai`)
- Start the gateway with `nanobot webui` — the WebUI opens at `http://127.0.0.1:8765`
- Configure MCP servers in Settings → MCP: Nanobot consumes external MCP tools, it is an agent framework rather than a server you point Claude Desktop at
Known issues & workarounds
⚠︎ WebUI not reachable from another device
The first-run WebUI binds to localhost by default and is not exposed to your LAN. Follow the Nanobot docs to enable channels / LAN access.
