MCP server creating a structured personal profile (digital identity layer) that any AI assistant can read, with YAML profile files, generators, and plugins.

Install

npm install -g mcp-me
mcp-me init && mcp-me generate --github your-username
mcp-me serve
Or npx mcp-me serve

Usage

  • Ask AI 'write a cover letter' with profile context
  • mcp-me generate to pull public data
  • Use plugins for live data

Key features

  • Local YAML profile (identity, career, skills, interests, goals, etc.)
  • 329 registered generators pulling from 44 source files
  • 13 live plugins (Spotify, GitHub, Last.fm, etc.)
  • MCP resources (me://...) and prompts
  • AGENTS.md / copilot-instructions templates

Caveats

  • Most generators need no API keys, some plugins require OAuth/tokens
